    Pirelli Dragon

Hey guys, I came across these tyres and they seem like a reasonable price with similar idea and product placement from Pirelli to compete against the Adrenaline RE001.

Just wondering if anyone has had any experiences with this tyre...
besides the "silly" name, reviews of this tyre has been pretty good...

Hey jeff. I have not had an experience with dragons but I have used Pirelli P Zero Rosso's before and can say that the grip and comfort levels are good. Having said that in 205/55/16 the side walls flexed alot under hard cornering. I would say opt for the RE001's I think they will be a better performance tyre ( the scarfice being worse ride comfort and more tyre noise, but who cares).

hey tofu i was considering these a while ago. this is a quote from Aarong on Ozhonda.com

"The Dragon is a hard compound tyre. To compare, the RE001 is 180, C and S.Drives are 300 while the Dragon is 380! So consider the Dragon if you do many kms a year, otherwise it is not worth getting it. Tyres harden as they age, so eventually the Dragons will get too hard to be driven safely in the wet."

        It helped me out.
