I think for me it boils down to the fact that Spoon has many years (25+ i think?) of real racing experience in Japan. Sometimes it isn't about just going faster only on the track, but being efficient and still a bit comfortable on the street.

I find the stock type-R to be a great handling car in all conditions, not just the track. It was seeing Spoon's DC2R on video that helped convince me to own and drive a DC2R.
