Twisted Wheel - Know of a Repair place in BNE?

Hey guys, I found out one of my TypeS rims is twisted.
Beaurepairs said it was twisted and not buckled, and they said it's very difficult to repair, and perhaps even if someone can repair it, the integrity of the repaired wheel may not be at it's best...but i gotta try...one new TypeS rim from Honda is $870...

Does anyone know who can repair "twisted" wheels in BNE/QLD?

I have heard of people who repair rim's. I think they mostly do scratches but they may know if you can straighten wheels.

Have you got a second opinion from another shop to confirm?

yeah I have been to two other wheel/tyre shops, and they both put it on the wheel balancing machine, and they say it's twisted...

Has anyone had to re-roll their rims, like when they hit a pot hole and put a slight ding in it (not enough to buckle)?

I have eug. Beaurepaires sent me to a mag wheel repair place near parramatta. Was about 5 years ago. They did a great job, cost about $80. This was for some aftermarket wheels, not OEM rims.

You could try these guys I guess? Found them via the google.

                        Thanks Chuck,

Put a lil ding in one of my volks but its not to bad. Re-rolling shouldnt weaken them right?

I would say, get a new one if you can repair it.

Your life is on the line with rims, so if I were you, I wont risk my life.
