    DC5R oil filter

i went into autobarn and DC5R aint listed in the Ryco book. anyone know which one to get? or if there are better ones to get. just being fussy you know. lol

I would not trust a Ryco filter as far as I could throw it man, which could be pretty far I guess .

You could try a K & N filter if you were that keen, they sell those at autobarn I think, or you could just get a normal Honda one from a dealer (thats what I do). They are fairly cheap and are a nice blue colour .

    OT: how go the exams?

Just get the OEM honda oil filter. It's like $16.50 from the dealer i think.

          oem Honda: 15400-RTA-004
There is no reason not to get a oem one...they arent expensive at all. Go to your local Honda dealership, walk into the parts department, and quote that part number. Simple.

I've used both a local Autobarn Ryco and the normal blue OEM filters and can't notice the difference between the two. I used different oils with the different filters so can't comment on how good at filtration one was to the other but didn't notice anything nasty with the Ryco.

i usually use oem or hamp, same price $15

shift performance sell the power interprise mag power 2 oil filter, goes for $30, it has a magnet in it to stop metal particles recirculating into your engine, apparently lasts 2 oil changes

go to autobarn, pick up a round magnet for $5 bucks.

Then put it on the back of an oem honda filter, walla
