how the heck you guys getting 500 kms from the dc5 tank?
I was getting about 400 and driving like a granny, shifting at 3k
now im getting like 380 after an ecu tune

my car (engine wise) is completely stock, that probably explains getting 550km's.

even when my car was stock, I wasn't getting anywhere near 550 km's

my car is stock and i get about 380 before light comes on....so sad ...waste of money...

maybe thats ur answer... ppl getting in the 500's probably use 98 RON whereas you were using only 95... the higher the RON rating, the more kms you should get. Some ppl mistake the RON rating to give you more power... it will only give more power if your car was tuned to run higher octane.

i always use ultimate or vortex 98 and i get over 500 kms easy... the 100 RON shell gave me more mileage... maybe 600, however it did cost more.

I drive around w/o vtec most of the time and I still get 500 km per 45 litre.

I'm not sure why though, want me to ask my car?

I've only use optimax or bp ultimate. could there be something wrong with my car to cause it to not be fuel efficient?

how much do you weigh?

just kidding... i get 450km from a full tank if im lucky.. 400 most of the time, but its a base auto

i've also found that CALTEX vortex gold gives me an extra 20-50kms per tank over the other premium fuels from other servos.

hahah vtak daily, i redline at least once in almost every drive longer than 10minutes, though i am no hoon, i do a lot of freeway driving, and onramps are fun. Most ive gotten is about 550, then i pumped 52 litres.
