just a warning that a rotary is not the best tool for beginners to use. You can very easily burn the paint if you don't do your research

When you have Paul Dalton as a friend and when he charges somewhere in the zone of $9000+ for a detail, you expect it to be over the top don't you think?

Here's another detail by Paul, but this time the price is justified.

If you use a random orbital polisher it's pretty hard to actually screw up if you do a bit of research.
Using a Rotary is a whole different story though.
I encourage those who want to try it out to start on a random orbital polisher, the rewards are really worthwhile./Oo ___H___ oO\

yeah if you use the machine carefully, read up on how to use it before hand then there is a very slim chance of actually ruining the paint.
Just start off slow and work your way up. The slower the speed you use to begin with the better, just take your time with it. As you get more experienced you can move to higher speeds.
I just reccomend anyone doing details to tape up all the plastic trim so you don't get polish on it, it's very hard to get off once you get it on./Oo ___H___ oO\
