in light of recent events I HEAVILY DOUBT that the civicR will arrive in the form of a sedan.

Why would they display it in chatty shopping centre/melb autoshow if that is the case?

Also it is smarter to bring uk one as on a whole it is alot more striking then the civic sedan. We might like the civic sedan but as someone else motioned our influences are significant but negligable in the real world. My friends all love the civic spacehatch alot more then the civic sedan. Many have pointed out that the dc5 looks better then the civic sedan. These are the people that honda relies on to push out their cars.

From what I know is all the Civics got i-vtec engines..but the Civic Sport should be a revised K20a3 as Jing said...and the base model been the new i-vtec engines different to the Integras.

Civic Sport is DOHC 2 liter K20 series engine and the base is SOHC 1.8 liter R18A engine....

We are gettiing the UK version CTR.....Honda Aus won't bring the JDM version coz they are in the same target market as the Civic sedan.....the UK version is Hatch so they aiming different customers.....They are relying on the New civic atm so they won't bring sth which will affect their sales figures.....

A friend who works at Honda mentioned that Honda Australia are only bringing the CTR in limited quantities of 500 for the whole of Australia.

U see...JDM's retail price is only that much compared to the UK hatch of bloody $55k....Honda Aus is asking a lot out of nowhere...especially with a shittier version overall whether it be the look & performance

The JDM CTR will eat the AUSDM CTR anyday
