Silicone heater hoses for EK4 B16A2
So my car overheated the other day, temp gauge was at max and something smelled burning. Pulled over immediately to the side and noticed steam coming out of the grille.
Opened the bonnet and coolant was everywhere - intake tube, fan shroud, radiator, gearbox. I blew a heater hose. The smell was horrible as well. Opened the radiator cap and IT WAS EMPTY!
I will be needing to replace all 4 of those hoses, I already have a Samco upper and lower radiator hoses on the way.
Anyone know where I can acquire silicone heater hoses for B16A2 for EK4 hatchback? I am tempted to get one from ebay but I am doubting the quality of those hoses.
Second option would be to get quality rubber hoses, but I am looking to buy a high quality, multi ply silicone hose. I would consider getting ebay heater hoses - would this be a good idea?
