Mugen Rear Lip Brake Light

Hey guys,

I was browsing through some threads for some neat little DIY projects done on some Mugen DC5R parts and came across this thread: http://forums.clubrsx.com/showthread.php?t=865737

The Mugen Rear lip that is on my 03' DC5R at the moment did not come with the LED 3rd brake light that Mugen actually produced (before they stopped) and I was wondering if anyone has actually grabbed another OEM light from another Honda and created something similar to the LED Mugen Rear Lip (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V3fpfrRtd8I). The Mugen Rear Lip that I have came with mesh only (shown in this pic http://i78.photobucket.com/albums/j1...d/DSC_1482.jpg).

Will attempt to create the 3rd brake light behind the mesh material this coming semester break, appreciate any tips!

To my knowledge Mugen never made the third brake light, from all the one's I've seen done like this, a crv brake light was used and retro'd in. If you read the thread you linked in your post it say that on the first page[emoji1303]

Mugen never made the extra brake/fog light that sits in the mesh area of the lip. It's all retrofitted by owners who wanted that look.

Sweet, just found a pic of how I want to do it (CR-V light behind the mesh). May have to make a mould of some sort, thanks lads.
Keen to get it working though might have to see someone when it comes to wiring...
