    Question About Toyo Tyres

    hey peeps!
a few months ago i had to get my tyres rotated and stuff and i found out one of my tyres was stuffed, maybe due to a bald spot. anyway i had to get a replacement for it and the guy told me that they no longer made my tyre and it was hard to source, but he found one for me anyway.

my question is, does anyone know what the new replacement is, if there is one? my tyre is toyo t1r...

oh and what is the correct profile for 15" in 205? atm i'm running 195 50 15.

oh yeah i knew that... was wondering if profile for 205 is 205 50 15 or something else?

so anyone know if the T1R is no longer made and being replaced or what the situation is?

        Why are you running 195/50 15" ?

These will be too short... not only will they look silly, but the load rating will most likely be too low...

Replace them all with 195/55 15".

I have been running 195/50/15 for 1.5 years with no probs. Doesn't look to silly and I like the crisp response and slightly better gearing. But going back to 195/55/15 (michelin pp2's due to recommendation from one hardcore ITR owner!) as 195/50 does lower the car 1cm all round and I have scraped my extractors a little bit. Just want that little bit more protection on the street.

But am going to 195/50/15 on track...

not everyone has eagle eyes like you cam, 8.5mm difference in sidewall height is not always that noticable...

                    T1S was replaced by T1R.

the T1R are still in production, but I don't know if they make them in your size anymore tho.

Thanks for the answers... I dunno why this guy said that they no longer make them? I thought there was a new Toyo tyre coming out...
And these guys are supposed to be like official sellers (or whatever) of Toyo.

p.s. My car doesn't look silly with the 195 50 15... I've been running it for a few years now and its fine

isnt the load rating on all 195/50/15's ILLEGAL?
