Has anyone received calls from this company from Smithfield in regards to your ad on Carsales?

They call with a private number and they make it sound they will come up with a decent offer.

A friend has had a similar experience when selling his old car. He said they will lowball and pay you trade-in prices based off Redbook.

Tip: put "No Dealer" in your ad description.

Sounds similar to what happened to my dad when he was selling his 135, had a guy lowball him, dad sad he sounded slick and to the point, dad asked if he was a dealer and all the guy would say is that he was 'in the game'
