I believe the JDM DC5R's are shiny, like the EP3 ones but the AUDM ones are matte.

My current and previous DC5R both had matte badges - 2002, and 2003 respectively.

Mine was matte too. 02. I was under the impression that it was the JDM and AUDM distinction.

02-03 model has a matte badge, '04 has a gloss badge.

I have a 03 DC5R with the Matte badge. I had no idea they came in gloss. Can somebody post up a pic with the gloss badge?
