Haltech as well. Will likely be cheaper and has superior real time logging and the like.

They are very similar on pricing.

Itd probably cost you the same to get a haltech and with a lot less troubles.

Even though I'm not too fussed about it since I'm going forced induction soon, but I think it has more to come out. If I had the chance, I'd take my car to Adrian any day!

                - GruppeM
                - Toda header + cat
                - Powergetter
                - KPRO V3

Didn't care about peak power, chased mid-range and more linear power for better driveability
                Was indeed fun =]

Awesome replies. Yeah not chasing high power numbers more interested in peak power, power curves etc but very interesting to see what some of the guys are putting out with their different set ups.

I'll be running the haltech hopefully with some toda headers + rm01 if i can grab my hands on it. OR be running toda headers with a custom 2.75/3" cat. Does anybody recommenced a custom catback set up ? Or should i stay jay dee em and look at spoon/fujitsubo etc?

For the coin, an aftermarket kit is more cost effective than custom. You'll get the same numbers too

Or better numbers. Gives you flexibility and such as well.

                      EDIT: I'm talking custom.

Anybody recommend any places in Melbourne that can create such an exhaust?

Any tips on what to look for/what will be needed to get this done over here?

                        Cheers in advance

Ringwood exhaust are decent. Google is your friend.

DC5 loves 3 inch exhaust. It'll make good power

Ahh i see! Also seems i'll need to get some sway bars to fit the Toda headers ? is that right? Hopefully ringwood can set it all up correctly and do a decent job as i've been recommended to them quite a few times!

Yeah change of front sway bar with Toda header.
Popular choice is the EP3R front sway, or something aftermarket like Whiteline

try havoc fabrication for the exhaust, I've had some stuff done by him and so have other mates and he does top notch work and is reasonably priced (Y)
