    Slotted rotors worth it ?

Should i get my rotors machined or should I get slotted rotors , I'm currently running brembo set up, need to change/machine rotors and pads.
What do you recommend? also if I'm running brembos do I have to get a different size rotor/ pad ? It came with the car and I'm a complete noob with brakes , thank you in advance

Also depends how much life you have left in the rotors, might be better off buying new ones rather than machining if they're almost gone.

Slotted rotors have their benefits, but 8/10 times on the street they are not needed (unless you spend all your time doing hill runs). The slots are designed to help disperse heat and remove excess pad material that can build up between the pad and the rotor.

If you do alot of track work they are a good idea, just stay away from cross drilled & slotted, as these weaken the integrity of the rotor face and are more prone to surface cracking.

If you need pads & rotors, let me know. I can supply Project Mu for you
