    ok, great!

with that information in mind - is your budget $200ea fitted and balanced??

i would recommend the Yokohama C-Drive version 2 - but not sure if these would come in under budget... plus they are noisy when pushed hard...

How do you find the C drive version 2s? I had the first one and they were horrible with grip in dry and wet conditions

Well I'm buying new wheels as well so I'm keeping an eye out for places that'll fit and balance for free if I buy a set (I think Tempe Tyres do this, they offered it for my last set a couple of years back) but generally I'd like to keep it under $200 per tyre alone.

The Yokohama's do look good but they seem closer to $300 after a quick browse? I'm after 225/40/18

i would not have them on a high performance car, but on a Jazz they are OK comfort-wise...

i like the RE001's on the jazz when pushing hard, but they were had worse comfort.

well if that is the case - 40 profile tyres will never ever provide a truly "comfortable" ride...

perhaps consider going to 17in rims with 45s, or 16's with 50 series...

Yeah I see what you mean. What about in terms of widths, say if the wheel was 18 x 8.5 +44 would a 235/40/18 still fit on that? Local store has Toyo Teo's at $190 balanced and fitted but only have the 235's in stock.

You can make a lot of tyres fit. It's what yor after. Stretch or track stance? 235/40 will fit those wheels. If you're stretching you could even fit 195/40
