will you have to change the 02 sensor in the cat ?
and the wiring kit, is it just an extra wire can you link me to what you are talking about please ?

ive already changed my mounts but why is it you have to change them when you do headers ?
I reckon any change in fuel consumption will be quite minute
I've changed my secondary o2 sensor when I got TODA header and cat installed, but purely because mine was worn out and needed to be replaced anyway.
Yours should be ok if it's in good condition

wont have to change the actual sensor mate (I do suggest getting a defouler to prevent a CEL), and mounts to prevent cracking as said

links to defouler and wire (just examples):

curiously, have you sorted out the sway bar?

sorry ive never heard of a defouler before which one of them is the defouler ?

i understand that i will need a new swaybar for aftermarket headers and ill probably buy the ep3 one if i go down the path of headers and extractors, but im not quiet set on buying the headers and extractors yet. im not sure if i should just do intake and kpro or wait to do catback headers and rbc before the kpro.

Extractors and headers are the same thing. If you do plan to tune your car. Then i suggest do i/h/e and then rbc just before you go for a tune. There really isnt any point in tuning a stock car imo. If youre only keeping it for 2 years then i suggest just i/h/e. Ive owned my car for almosy two years with just i/h/e and i get about 400-450km a full tank.

.... that sounds spot on (if you mean the whole 50L tank, which im sure you dont), I regularly average 8L/100km (or about 620km to a full tank)

Sorry meant headers and catback * LOL . Nice advice. I think ill do this then if i plan to keep the car longer i may do the comp and tune. Do you think itd be most appropriate to do headers and catback at same time or maybe headers first then after a wwhile catback orr ?

It doesnt matter if you go header or catback first or even intake first. But do this before a tune. Ive done it in steps so you should be fine.

I'll probly go headers 1st cause the catback would be alot more easy to do

Kpro + tune is the best bang for buck on a DC5R. See here: http://forum.clubitr.com.au/showthre...l=1#post254956

If your worried about fuel economy, you can also tune for better than stock fuel economy with a programmable ECU.

                          im a cheapskate lol
also live in tamworth, so barely any stop-start, and cruise around in 6th gear anything above 60kmh

I get about 450-470 before my light goes on around town (Far decent amount of mods and a decent tune) and as low at 6.8L/100 on the highway

So your economy won't go out the window unless you are in VTEC constantly.

with the mods get what you are happy to keep then tune so it doesn't matter the order. Like I said on the first page no point re-tuning after every part add on.

Thanks so much guys ! Im just asking if i should do headers and exhaust togethee because thwy will be easier to do both ar once and hence cheaper labour ? I would rather do it one at a time so i can see the difference each mod done if you get what i mean ! As time passes and i get close to purchasing the first thing ill ask a more detailed queation on whats required for me to take to my mechanic for installation
