Exhaust for an 03 DC5

Where do you guys usually find the best prices for exhausts etc?

Stroll through forums/ebay/gumtree/yahoo auctions hahahaha. I recently sold my powergetter for dc5, should've bought it, I sold it cheap too!

I've been keeping an eye out but so far only found a Skunk2 exhaust. If I buy brand new I think I'm leaning towards a HKS Hi-Power Exhaust. Any legal issues with these?

we run a Skunk2 76mm exhaust in the DC5 and its LOUD.
Heres a video of it, which was taken from the top of the stands at WSID n our little point and shoot camera.

I don't want it too loud :\ don't want the attention from cops but I also prefer the really deep tone like the HKS

Gone 2 years without being pulled up and I don't want it to start with exhaust noise.. lol :P cute kid though!!

There shouldn't be a legal issue with the HKS unless it was excessively noisy which I don't think it is.

I went ahead and purchased the HKS Hi-Power I managed to get nearly $150 off too from Vivid Racing (they have a coupon for Aussies that gives a 10% discount) - turned out to be about $1200 including delivery, if it were eBay it would've been about $1600 I believe.

Oh and what are silencers exactly? Think I'll need one?

Silencers are small attachments you put inside the tip. They are illegal to run though.

The same reason those adjustable volume Varex exhausts are illegal
