    will i need the seller to write a letter of sale if i purchase an engine from a wrecked car for blue slip?

        Are you in NSW? Best to check the Rta website, that info should be on there(somewhere). Or even best to visit them and get printed requirements of what's needed just to cover your arse

          Depends what engine... depends who you go to as well. I did an engine swap from eg b20 needed blue slip.. they never asked.

            I had to show it when registering the motor to the chassis.

            No dramas during the blue slip stage.
