I had this tapping sound!!!!!!!!!! I ran injector cleaner through my car and did an oil/filter change + plugs because my car was due for service and it went away. As Flippit said thats your injectors and it is nothing to worry about as my mechanic told meComment

You can buy a bottle of fuel injector cleaner at any supercheap or car store and put it into your fuel tank and it will run it through your injectors!Originally posted by cwdc5 View PostComment

Just be cautious though, you run an injector cleaner where do think the shit from the injectors will go to next?? It may just cause another hiccup. It may work who knows.
best way is to get your injectors properly cleaned from a specialists.Comment

To get your injectors cleaned properly, have them removed and cleaned properly.pay places charge 30 to 40 dollars per injector. All O rings and filter buckets will get replaced..sigpic MRDC5SComment

As above, engine sounds fine to me. If you're concerned about the injectors pull them out and have them serviced properly, it's money much better spent than putting injector cleaner in your fuel.Comment

Ill see if I can get the number for the guy who did my old car's injectors.
He cleaned out the injectors and rail and replaced all the seals for $150. this was providing we removed injector rail ready for him to service.Comment
