    Regamaster 17x9 +38 tyre size?

    Hi guys,

I know some of you guys are running regas and i have bought myself a set from pov bloke in qld.

    I was thinking 245/40/17 or 245/45/17

After the square set up rather then stretch. If possible can someone also post a photo of how there regas sit on 17x9 +38??
    Thanks guys

Check THIS thread, I'm pretty sure that side has come up before.

Out of those 2 tyre sizes, go for 245/40. 245/45 is too fat for what I assume is a DC5.

    THESE might even be yours.

215 if u want easy fitment no headaches. dnt recommend anything but street driving on these
225 and 235 give a decent fatness to it, makes it look aggressive, still relatively easy to fit, with camber plates/bolts/arms
245 is great, but wil be a headache to fit. may need pulled fenders.

this is coming from an ep3 owner though, i understand dc5 seems to have more room under guards

Ill suggest 225/45 or 235/40 as its a bit stretched but it wont be such a headache. With those specs i suggest running a 5mm spacer in the rear as you may hit the rear trailing arm. I was running 17x9 +35 all round with 235/45, the rear just cleared the rear trailing arm by 2mm with -2 degree camber. The front should fit without a problem though. Also you will need rolled guards as well mainly the rears.

Right now my front and rear guards has already been rolled i did this last week. I dont really want a stretch look as long as it wont scrub anything i'll be happy thanks for the input

We are running a different spec compared to the wheels that you bought. 17x9 +18 to be exact.

The red DC5 and myself are running 225/45/17 with some stretch. The orange DC5 is running 235/40/17.

Three people have already given you similar answers in regards to tyre size. What more do you need to know?

Whether you scrub your guards also depends on your height and camber settings. Run 5mm spacers on the rear so you dont have to worry about hitting the rear trailing arm.
