    Tein Basic Coilovers ?

    Hey guys, just wondering if anyone has had Tein basic coilovers on their dc5 ? And whats the ride like ? Im planning to purchased a used pair for $500.

    Worth the money ?

    Hope to hear some responses !

    Hey mate,

    You cant beat them if you solely looking for a drop!

    best to buy these coilovers over the BC racing coiloviers (with camber tops) if you looking to run oem wheels or not much camber... if you want to run aggresive wheels, might as well buy the BC's as u get camber plates up front to help dial in more camber...

    The tein basics i believe run a relatively soft spring rate, no dramas for daily. My gf dailys her DC5 with the Tein Basics. have had them in for almost 4 years now with zero dramas. Runs relatively low.

    Heres some pics;

    Lowered on said Tein basics and wheels are Type S wheels 17' with a 215/45/17 tyre.:

    Would just tuck tyres on a 18inch wheel with 215/40/18 tyres:

    Front coilovers are on max low and rears have plenty of treads for more low if thats what floats your boat
