DC5S double DIN head unit into DC5R?

I'm thinking about getting a stock DC5S double din head unit and getting an adapter so it will fit in my DC5R. Does anyone have ideas on where to get an adapter?

cut the loom and join it over?

That's one option I guess. Would it be as simple as matching the wiring up, colourwise? I'm an audio electrical noob.

Better yet just buy a second hand double din? If your going to the trouble of doing all that might aswel get something with a usb minimal

Theres this asian owned audio store in Canley Heights that sell very decent second hand branded headunits for a steal. Their not off the back of the truck or anything. Ppl just trade in their old HU for newer stock.

That price is an absolute bargain Alex. Quality Kenwood double dins over here would be 600. Not installed that is.
