rust in my DC2 Type R

Hi Guys was recently replacing the tail light gaskets in my car and thought after 12 years might be due for a little clean up and this is what i found. might be a good time for others to check for this as well not a lot holding onto that rear bar.

Anyone else found any more rust ?

yep, bugger all rust really for a 12 year old car . have to check the front of the car next , give it a clean up.

My tail light bracket on my DC5S had more rust. Don't stress... if you're worried, do what I did and sand off the rust and spray away.

yep ended up just getting can of kill rust and repainting after sanding it back. like new again !

At first i thought it was just dirt on the black bracket as well but its rust or the beginnings of it

will take a photo tonight , car is still in parts as i have snapped 3 of the plastic clips , waiting for shipment

Near the headlights, i find pieces of my paints cracking off not sure how bad it is though.
