i did this to mine last year for 8 weeks. had it serviced right before doing it, was left in my parents garage.
forgot to disconnect the battery, and hence had to pay for a new battery when i tried to drive it next.
my cars all scratched up anyway, so im beyond caring.

(that's what happens when you get married kids although it had only covered ~2K in 3 years so had to go). I neither care nore worry about the current car my wife and I drive. It's maintained but I couldn't care less if anything happens to it.

Very true - since I had kids, I'm less stressed about the car.
The fact that the kids suck up more money has an impact on it too!
