Insurance claims for DC2 with jdm front

Hey guys just wondering if i were to do an insurance claim for my dc2 with jdm front will it be covered if i need a new front bar and that kinda stuff? I am insured under full comprehensive and under woolworth insurance.

Because im just worried about how i need to import a new jdm front bar or something like that. So i just wanted to know how far insurance will cover it

I did with just car, they fixed it but dogdly. Im now with nrma. I havent told them!


Just make the claim. When u go to the smash repairer just notify them of what they need when quoting. incase they dont notice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

wont they write it off when they see inflated price from mechanic?
does nrma cover mods too like engine swaps?

Dear god to your 1st statement. Most mechanics charge $55 a hour which is nothing when u work out there over heads! If any thing dirt cheap. I charge more then that and i have alot less over heads!

To your second. They say any legal mod. So it need to be registered with the rta and engineered. if the motor screwed in a accident. It must be a bad crash. So the car will be a ride off any ways. Just get them to pay you out minus the fee to keep the car!

What Tink said and remember that they are there to make a profit as well as provide a service. If you accidentally or intentionally leave off information that they needed when writing your policy then you are at fault, not them.

To This i tryed to tell NRMA about the Jdm front modifcations. the person assured me that theres no need and that she wont put it down!
