    How to find out what year model your engine is from??

    Hello there guys,

    I have just recently picked up a B18C7 off a random guy
    & he doesnt know what year model it came out from...

    Now is there a way to find out??...


    HELP HELP HELP PLEASE.

    My guess is a 99-01 dc2R. LOL but really maybe rta paper's!

      I guess he doesn't know the kms on the engine either. Who cares what year model it came out, as Karl said, It can only be between 99-01

        engine number could tell you. my car is 00 464 , engine was 465 (last three digits)and its april 2000

            And who cares, it's between 11 and 13 years old, which is old enough for it not to matter.

              Agree with these fellas - why you want to know? I think what you really need to know is the state of the engine - check for compression and etc.... make sure it is healthy

                & would love to find out cause previous owner told me its done roughly between 160,000-170,000.
