    Gruppe M EP3R

Hey guys, wondering if anyone can give a good review on these intakes. I currently have a Apexi short ram but I've been defected twice so I'm looking for a replacement.

I dont like the standard box, it feels like dirt and is way to restrictive, so I'm looking for a better legal option. Is the Gruppe M really worth the money?

I had a short ram like you, and for a while it was great. But then the added gains of GruppeM got the better of me, pick up a secondhand one and it is well worth every penny! I'll never sell mine, and it's probably one of my favourite parts on the car

The bwahh and induction sucking (whistle) is simply amazing

Whats a good price for one new. I've been quoted around $1100.

IMO 1100 is highway robery, however that is what you pay for it new.

Secondhand they go for around 750-900. They are just as good. Seriously can't go wrong with secondhand

Buy it through Jesse Streeter. He can get it cheaper than $1100 shipped!

Got one, and wow its amazing. The sound incredible, and the car behaves a lot more at low RPM.

Thats what I ended up getting, but i sourced it through their own website. Ordered on Sunday night and it was at my door in Thursday morning.

Good quality, excellent piece of gear for any DC5R/EP3R. Just make sure you get the right one, the one you showed was for DC5R.

Yeh, its excellent. Makes the car run a lot smoother too, and its honestly the best type of intake to have that you can buy off the shelf. Personally, I'd steer away from buying a second hand one, because you never know whats missing and it does come in a few parts.

The EP3R variant did require some modification to the scuttle panel, but its rather easy to do and I'd be more than happy to let you know how i did it.

The last owner of my DC5R put a pod filter where the factory airbox was and I think it's a horrible spot - sitting in a heat pocket. How easy is the Tegiwa one to fit? Was there any cutting required? It looks so nice!

i ended up getting a gruppem. its sooo awesome man i really do recommend them. and the tegiwa is the same thing so get tegiwa if you cant source a gruppem (they are hard to find). only difference between the two from what i know is that tegiwa dont provide you with a replacement cowl. no biggie u can just cut the OEM one with a hack saw lol. it'll come out exactly the same...

I thought u could buy a cowl seperately for some reason.
