Keyless Entry/Remote Central Locking DC2R

Hi all,
I recently bought a 2000 model dc2r and was quite surprised it didn't come with keyless entry. Sticking the key in to lock/unlock is starting to get to me.

I was thinking about An aftermarket alarm with keyless entry but was wondering if its possible to get an oem keyless entry remote (on ebay) programmed for the car. Does it need some kind of additional receiver module?

Just get a after market alarm. U should have one for a dc2R any ways.. People always steel the seet, steering wheel and gear knob!

I ended up getting the mongoose m80 alarm for $180

There is a boot release button on the remote but it cant be hooked up.

Also needed to buy a seperate central locking soleniod which sucks.
