DC2 Suspension

Hey guys!

I'm quite lost when it comes to car suspension as I'm relatively new to that area.

I'm currently sitting on stock shocks with some cheap eBay coil sleeves and that ride is ridiculously uncomfortable and too bouncy.

I want to change to something that would give me a more comfortable ride whilst driving me a good drop (1.5"-2"). What are some good shocks/spring combos I can go? And are coilovers more comfy or shocks/springs?

you wont get anything decent with 6-700 tbh.

good shocks+springs combo still gonna set you back $1000 or so

Eibach is a decent option, but that link is not a direct fit for the type R due to the rear shocks having 'fork' instead of 'eye' - so be careful on what you order...

the KILLER from the states will be shipping, so make sure you compare postage quotes...

Being that all a rear strut bar does is brace the car, this doesnt sound right.

Either youve brought a adjustable one and have over tighened it with the length and have pushed the struts away from each other!

You didnt do the bolts back up tight

Or you confused between a strut bar and a sway bar!

all the bolts are tight. i put in the bar that bolts on to the rear shocks mounts an 1 that bolts onto the seat belt bolts above the back seats an the 3rd 1 is bolted on between the rear control arms. i dont have on a front sway bar maybe thats the problem?

Yer bracing shouldnt make handerling worst. Was the sway bar installed at the same time?
