    Exhausts - 3 inch (DC2)

Hey guys, can anyone enlighten me with where i could purchase a 3 inch cat-back exhaust for my DC2 / B18 ? Just like to know my options.

So far i've only come across Ebay exhausts and the Skunk2 mega-power RR from American stores.

It seems like if i want to avoid international shipping it would be best to look at a custom system, what are some reputable stores who fabricate exhausts at goof value.

I plan on doing a before and after dyno plot also.

Can we also avoid elaborating the 'backpressure' debate here thanks

    Cheers!

I don think it is too large from a power+torque perspective, although it is too large for sound.

I'm starting to think to get it custom made, utilise double resonators, and oval muffler to keep of sound levels to the minimum.

Who else on the forum runs a K or B with 3 inch exhausts, and can share thoughts on sound?

they said they are developing a 70mm as we speak.

It would be lovely, but i have concerns about sound quality of the exhaust below 4000 rpm along with durability issues on a lowered car.

You shouldn't really have any issues with scrapping if you're mildly careful, they are over axle exhaust systems.

oh nice! how do you think it would do on a DB test, i remember your car at th tempe meet and it sounded great, but i think it had a 70mm?

Have any exhaust videos of your 3 inch ti?

Wouldn't go 3' for B series. 70mm (2.75') would be the largest if not 2.5' will do as well.

As much as the little blokes at Honda 12 years ago decided to do before putting my B18C7 on to its mounts
