UK Honda Civic

Attached are a couple of pictures of the UK Honda Civic. It is quite a bit different to the Australian and Japanese Civic. This model has been in the UK for more than 6 months now. The new Civic Type R expects to be released now next February according to the salesman I spoke to at this Portsmouth Honda dealership.

Comes standard with 16" rims but has 17" and 18" as optional rims and at least 3 different styles in each size.

I would be wanting the optional rims i think. These civic's look very neat.

Hmm i think it could look nice with a good kit, front needs to be more agressive, will be interesting if honda bring the civic r to aus....

The new jap civic r will be a 4 door sedan i think, and Honda AU dealership said that they will try to import them and will be available next year. Well sounds like bullshit to me

The pictures are of the basic Civic model. Actually, they look better in the flesh than the pictures indicate. Saw quite a few of them on the highways. Tagged along with one on the M1 north of London for about a 100 ks. Has a very nice stance on the highway. Couldn't say much for the Ford Fiesta 1.4 rental I was driving. Just couldn't get that V-Tec to kick in. I know why I like a Honda.

Several weeks ago, I posted some pictures of the prototype Civic Type R. The dealer I spoke to seemed to think that the new Civic Type R would look and be hot.

I think this is more of what you want to see...possibly closest to the real thing. I wonder if they are separating the Jap and British version of the Civic Type R to make it one 3 door for European market and the other 4 door for Asian Pacific???

its currently 225ps atm.....will get final figure real soon...but will stay at this for now.....and toqure is 21.5 atm....
