CRXs are quite overpriced, I think. I've been on the lookout for a good ED6 lately. Even those aren't coming up for sale very often.

Yep you're right, they aren't cheap. But some of the nicer ones floating around are much nicer than the average beat to hell EG.

mx5 is also a good choice cheap reliable and fun

This man speaks the truth, MX5s are a great option. Too bad they generally make CR-Xs look cheap for a car that is similar age and slower in stock form.
