Civic Type R To Return

thought Australia had intentions of getting the US version of Civic’s?
Just remember the Civic Type R EP3 & FN2 are all UK cars.
JDM cars are too hard core for Australia & pricey Nobody will buy them.

The EP3s never came out in Australia (or the EK9 for that matter). The JDM EP3s were UK built but had the extra goodies that Japan wanted. Japan rejected the FN2s and built a real Type-R FD2 instead (and I mean that with no disrespect to our FN2 owning brethren).

So - 4 (two at the same time) CTRs released in Europe and Asia and we got the FN2.

Given that Honda Australia are useless at gauging the market and are probably in denial that the FT86 is doing well in the boy-racer market, I'm not holding my breath. If we get a new CTR it will be detuned and over-priced.

I love Hondas, I think Honda Australia are the weakest, least innovative car-distributor in the Southern Hemisphere
