hey there's a European company that's released a ECU chip for the stock engine - something like 20-30% more power on a stock GTI.... You can even install a switch to switch the ECU program between stock and tuned....

2 of my friends have it and they say it's great! There's Australian dealers for the ECU..... cant remmeber the name but can find out if you want - otherwise have a look on vwvortex.com - should be able to find it there....

btw, i find it kinda weird that nowadays car company don't make a proper fog light mesh cover. There's a few opening on yours too. Do you know why if the hole is of any use?? This is just like the new Suzuki Swift Sport where they had a big in their fog light mesh for the car horn....wtf??

hi thx funkyr yeh ive known a few brands already and am lookin atm.. but modding euro cars gets very exp... so have to wait abit... but most likely lookin at APR or MTM

lol i looked at them aswell but i didnt want to wait so long and ontop of that, the R32's are more exp to mod... much easier to get power outta the gti then the r32 coz only half a sec diff in the 0-100km but the sound of the R32!!! AWESOME!!! and love the AWD!!!

Nice car, I was going to buy Golf GTI but I had to wait for 1 year b4 I can get the car so I cancel the plan.

In terms of performance , DC5 will be faster to a certain level but for overall package GTI owns DC5 plus GTI has DSG
