    My DC2R Detail

My first ever time detailing and its on a black car.

The detail took two days, that included wheels off cleaning the wheel wells, under the car with a pressure washer, the engine too. Notice how clean the block is.

I'm pretty impressed with how it turned out and had to show it off.

    1. Wash with Meguirs NXT
    2. CLay Magic Blue using the Meguires wash as lube
    3. Wash again
    4. Poorboys SSR2.5 on Edge Yellow Pad
    5. Poorboys SSR1 on Edge Green Pad
    6. Poorboys Pro-Polish on Edge Blue Pad X 4
    7. Poorboys EXP on Edge White Pad x 3
    8. Engine Cleaned
    9. Undercarriage cleaned

All work was done with PC7424

The before pictures don't show how bad the paint really was, there were scratches and blemishes galore, the car is now 90% perfect.

The front lip had some scratches on it which I had painted and wet sanded. There are some chips that only a repaint will get out. So perhaps in the future ill paint the front end.

When I get a new rear bumper and sprayed, I am going to do a super detail as well.

Nobody knows who I really am, I never felt this empty before, And if I ever need someone to come along, Who's gonna comfort me, and keep me strong? We are all rowing the boat of fate, The waves keep on coming and we can't escape, But if we ever get lost on our way, The waves would guide you through another day

Did you use an electric buffer or do it all by hand? Very nice work btw - commitment +++
