Was a little bored this arvo, so popped down to the local fasteners and picked these bolts and washers up. Little bit of bling...

                Before and after shots

I can give the dimensions of the bolts if anyones interested.

OHH.. can that washers + bolt replace the plastic clips we have on our cars? i prolly broke like 12384798 of them :| never thought of that!

                      do let us know

I dont think so, because the clips usually spread out once you push them through. The only way you will get it to hold is with a nut+bolt, which would require you to hold the nut on the other side of the panel somehow whilst you tighten up the bolt to it.

                          ah that's true...

I agree, they break way too easily.

I had nuts and bolts holding the lip to the front bumper on my DC5 coz i broke all the clips LOL

next best option is to go for the clips that have a screw in them that you loosen with a phillips head screwdriver instead of prying out with a small flat screwdriver. They come out a lot more easily and are a lot less prone to breaking.

I bought about 50 all up...i used close to half of them...there should be plenty to do your car on the weekend if you want.

The bolt is - M6 x 20mm Flat Head Countersunk Socket Screw
and the washer is - #10 (although i would have preferred #12) cup washer.

                              goes ok
