    Under ADR I believe the answer to your question is yes.

    ADR states when changing a seat the safety features must not be downgraded.

              daz, i thought the standard type-s has seat airbags hence it may downgrade the safety features?

                  Yes it does downgrade the safety features but I'm pretty sure that Daz won't have this seat fixed in 24/7. Only for track purposes.

                    ins a way its an upgrade in safety for track ^_^..

                    as cornering in the Type S without side support prolly net him a bump in the head from moving around to much..

                    but yeh he taking it off after neway..

                        Yeah I got the Buddyclub seat rails with the seat.

                        It didn't take long at all. You can get it all done in half hour to a hour. There are 2 clips under the seat; 1 for the airbag and 1 for the seat belt. Then 4 bolts for the rails and another 1 for the seat belt buckle.

                        How did you find the stock seats on track? Did you use a harness?
