    Opinons on wheels

Hey guys im considering getting some new wheels for my yellow DC2R..

    Thinking about Enkei RPF1's in 15 or 16x7 in either bronze/silver/black ?
Anyone have any pics of DC2's with these rims or photoshoppers wanna have a crack at putting some on a teg for me?

Also thought about the usual suspect rims like CE28N's.. Another rim I like is the JDM DC2R rim in white. Volk racing RE30 looks pretty similar to the RPF1's. Hmmmm..

Do something differant... look into some BBS or maybe even Simmons rims. I know these two brands are a bit on the expensive side... but even 2nd hand RPF1's are into the $1k mark.

BBS are known to be ALOT better then there Jap counterparts... Get some BBS LM's... *fap*

Better in what way? More expensive and heavier?

This is what I have at the moment, I will find more later:

Heavier? When you compare them to Works/Volks/Rays etc they are of simular weight or lighter... they are also alot stronger.

But the RPF1 is a VERY nice rim, and are VERY light.

Black and yellow, work very well as contrasts.

What rims were you comparing the BBS LM's to?

When you compare them to Works/Volks/Rays of the same category (ie. price range and also forged), you'll find that that the LM's are a lot heavier.

As an indication, RPF1's are a cast wheel and are heavier than their equivalent (forged) CE28N/TE37/etc.

Here is a small sample of BBS LM weights vs RPF1 weights (http://www.audiworld.com/tech/wheel22.shtml) (http://www.enkei.com/RacingSeriesSpecs/RPF1.html)

                  BBS LM Forged/Spun 17x9 21.4 | Enkei RPF1 15.9 lbs.
                  BBS LM Forged/Spun 18x8 21.6 | Enkei RPF1 17.8 lbs.
                  BBS LM Forged/Spun 18x8.5 22.4 | Enkei RPF1 18.3 lbs.
                  BBS LM Forged/Spun 18x9.5 23.8 | Enkei RPF1 18.6 lbs.

I personally love the RPF1's - their good looking, light and relatively cheap when compared to your other options. Nice rim choice

alright... I guess BBS are crap... conform to everyone else's opionions and get the RPF1's.

Either way its your car so you decide what you want.
