Now... back to the photo's... if you learn what features your budget camera has you might be able to take even better photo's with the same camera.

Try using the timer when you use the tripod at night to avoid camera shake.

Me or RDC2? If me then no I don't have a DSLR, I've only ever had a P&S as I'm not into photography but after looking at fueltank's work then I understand that it just comes down to skill and not equipment in taking photos as he has produced quite good photos from a P&S.

But a tripod is a definite tool that you should carry around with you when you take photos.
