    Queensland Raceway Private Track Day 11/08/06

    Hi Guys,

    Attended a private track day last week and thought i would post up a couple of pics for y'all to look at. They aren't the best cause i couldn't be bothered walking round the track to get the best vantage point but you get the idea...

      Nice. Good to see modified DC5R's on the track. Any lap times? How long was the straight?

              The front straight is about 450m long approx, you come out of turn 6 which is a 60-70kph corner.

              We run the national track, same as what the V8 supercars run, and it was my first time running that layout, i managed a 1:27.50 lap. My mates dad does 1:24 in his GT3. Important to keep in mind that that layout is good for high powered cars due to the long straights, so i'm pretty stoked with the time

                    i was going to reply with a smart ass remark and decided against it =P..

                          I have never had any flames coming out of my exhaust (at least not that I know of).

                            usually being the driver, you are obviously not in the best position to do so...

                            i guess it depends on the state of your catalytic converter whether or not you will be able to shoot flames...

                              i always wondered for cars which likes to shoot alot of flame *ie turbo straight out pipe cars* would it be safe to go into a petrol station
