I have seen quite a few UTE done that kinda engine conversations, but what i don't understand is, why CA18DET? If you say its cheap, but CA18 always seems to need rebuild more than a SR20, hence its actually a more expensive option. Plus, more turbo lag......

Anyway, its a nicely done ute

Dont go much on the wheels but the ute has been done very nice!! I have got two 1200 utes an a datuns 1200 coupe as well as a sedan but none look this good
Ca18det fit in a bit better plus there is heaps of these conversions done(hence more knowledge an support) compared to a SR conversion. I think a CA is easier to get engineered also.

Cool. I think the wheels set this thing right off. I like em, alot.

If anyone is interested this thing is for sale atthe moment.

$22500 neg and will consider trades for other cars.

PM me for details if anyone is genuinely interested. If I had 20k or so spare lying around id buy this thing for sure.

Looks nuts - Ive always loved the 1600's and 510's but for a 1200 ute it looks insane.

I am pretty sure there a size difference in the CA18 and SR20 with where the intake plentum sits and so on...
