Hey guys, I didn't get to make it down to tampered beforehand so I thought i would at least make the effort to go down to Winton for the fun day a couple days after.
I was quite surprised I didn't see another integra at all the entire day, let alone another honda. I was repping the Integras all on my lonesome :P
Anyway, figured I would show you guys some of the photos I took whilst on the trip.
So me and my friend drove up the night beforehand as we were not to keen on a 5am start to the day. We stayed at the Benalla comfort in about 10-15 minutes away from the track. We arrived at about 1am the night before and quickly crashed as we arrived.
Sneaky shots out the front of the Inn.
Here's a shot of me and the other 2 guys I went along with, the supra and the s2000. This was as we just arrived at the track in the morning. For all of us, our first track day.
There was a lot of variation between the cars that were up there. Although mostly dominated by Evo's and skylines, there was also a range of BMW's, Mazda's, Nissans and of course commodores.
There were a select few that stood out. Such as these cobras.
And this GT40 was on the track quite a bit as well
Also, the older rigs as well.
Token shots of my mates cars
Here are some track shots.
This Renault was quick!
Skyline lost control.
The massive dust cloud he left for everyone behind him.
And some quick shots of my car whilst I was taking photos.
Mmmmm, bugeyes.
Unfortunately I wasn't able to get any photos of myself on the track (As I was designated photographer). Although I did manage to time about 2 of my laps during the day. The fastest lap I clocked was a measly 2.02! Oh well, leaves lots of room for improvements I guess. I didn't feel too bad when I remembered I was still running 15x6's on all weather tires that were hardly roadworthy :P
Awesome day was had, although the weather was an absolute killer. Only downside was noticed just as we were about to commence the trip home. My mate hopped in my car and noticed a massive crack creeping up the side of my windscreen!
Not Stoked!
And the epic skyline that we caught on the way home from Winton.
Hope you guys enjoyed the photos/story. Maybe next time ill be able to join other Integras up there! :P
