Mine set me back 11K over 10 years ago with 160k on the clock.Originally posted by Symphorced View PostHey guys, how common are genuine EFs in Australia? Looking to pick up a daily. Might have to settle for an ED6.
They are near impossible to find as most are Vic "Rebuild" imports and therefore illegal in many states.

EF8s and EF9s were never legally allowed into Australia under the laws as we know them today. They all came in as either private imports or dodgy Victorian Qld/Vic/WA "Rebuilds" where an Aussie car was rebuilt using 99.9% of a JDM EF. They missed out on the 15 year rule by 1 year and have never been SEVs approved. As a result they are sparse compared to their ED cousins.Originally posted by Symphorced View PostHey guys, how common are genuine EFs in Australia? Looking to pick up a daily. I owned one for 8 years and would still own it today if it hadn't lost a battle with a bus. Best car I ever owned - sadly I rate it slightly above the ITRs as a street car
Having said that, I saw exactly 5 other EF9s on the road and maybe 10 EF8s.
I wish I could pick up another one - god I miss it.1988 CRX
