Hahaha awesome pictures. I think I can see why the civic needs a toe hook lol. Must be common occurence to make it worthwhile though hahahaha.

Out of interest how does your mate's s15 do against your dc5r or any of the other cars?
"No Matter that you have a PhD and have read all of Henry James twice. If you still persist in writing, "Good food at it's best", you deserve to be struck by lightning, hacked up on the spot and buried in an unmarked grave" (Truss, 2003, p.44).

Umm me and the s15 are pretty close, at the moment i am slightly quicker. I managed consistent 61.7-62.5 sec laps for most of the day, he was in 62-63 for most of the day.

The GT3 which is running hoosier slicks on the back managed 59's, however on wednesday was doing 57's... I only managed 62-63's on wednesday mainly because my wheel alignment was up the shit and with that fixed on saturday my times dropped by a second on a much hotter day.

All times are for the sprint track, and it was pretty damn hot out there on the saturday so not the best for NA people.

Good track photo's. Ill see if us Vic people can get some good ones to show off when Winton comes next week.

Keep up the good work. Shame your selling the track car.

Do you have trouble keeping traction? I notice your not running alot of front camber? Most DC5R race cars have massive, sometimes upto -6 degrees front camber.

                  Cheers

u will find only n1 coilovers will support camber of this amount. Noones usually hardcore enough to run it on the street anyways

Well why dont some of you evo worshipors come to qld and show us what ur made of.... Your always so quick to have a go at anyone who questions the almighty evo... Its funny that i respect the evo drivers that i go to the track with and have a joke with them and they are very quick to admit that the hondas are very quick, yet i get questioned by ppl on forums who own/owned evo's and who never or rarely track their cars

My times are within 2sec of that of a GT3 running slicks, that should be enough reason for my so called "cockiness" to be justified

The main issue with traction is due to the width/type of tyres, -6deg of camber would give you no traction at all exiting corners because there would be hardly any tyre on the road. I run -3deg on passenger side and -2deg on drivers side (cause its nearly all right hand turns) and Centrax and Evan aka Evatec run similar camber i believe. With fwd i think there is a very fine line when it comes to negative camber with regards to grip/turn in and traction out of the corner. with a rwd or awd car it is fine to run a lot more camber, my mate runs -5deg on his s15 but he doesn't need to use his front wheels to put his power to the ground.

I am upgrading to the hoosier street legal "slicks" b4 the next track day and from experience with other ppl using these it should drop my lap times by around 2secs. GT3 dropped 2secs a lap from semis and a mate with the red s15 shown in the wed pics dropped 5-6secs a lap from street tyres.

Anyways i posted the pics for ppl to enjoy not to be criticised by keyboard warriors

LOL easy boy, im not even a evo owner anymore. Nor am i an evo fanboy, i just state the truth.

But my comment was made with good intentions mocking your many "see you!" "you cant keep up with my honda" "awww the v8s behind" comments.
