After touring Coramandel recently, and driving on a few other exotic roads across asia. Think it's time, ticked this off the list.
Approx 800 Kms all around- incl 300 odd of the Great Alpine Road
Approx 11 Hrs with time for breakfast, lunch
Date: 2nd April 2011 (Last day of daylight savings)- Get an extra hour's sleep, to wear it off the next day
It's not for the feint hearted. I know most cars hardly see these number of Kms in a month let alone a day.
If you enjoy long cruises in top gear style scenery, then it's something for you.
