    AUDM DC2R suspension specification

Hi, does anyone have the specification for the oem front and rear suspension for the AUDM DC2R:

    - spring rates and height?
    - shock absorber damper and rebound rates?

    Cheers

Not sure about the damper rates but

    Spring - front 4.4kg/mm linear
    Rear 2.5-4.4kg/mm progressive

Thanks for that. Where abouts did you get the info from if you don't mind? Maybe I could get more info from there re shock absorber specs. Cheers

        Thanks Cam!

Are the AUDM spring rates the same as JDM 96 or 98 spec?

My guess here is they are the same as 96 spec due to 15inch wheels?

If this is true for AUDM then it is indeed 96spec (shown from 5:49)

That is disappointing because 96spec damping and spring rate is rather peaky and entering corners at the same speed as 98spec it will spin out.

The 15" wheels for export markets was nothing more than a cost cutting exercise for Honda. However for safety especially the European market with much higher freeway speeds, they are crazy to ship cars with 96spec suspension.

Also dissapointing is the 98spec having 1mm thicker sway bars all round, assuming we got 96spec all round that means we also need the JDM sway bars.

Group buy for 98spec stock suspension?

Yeah so in order to get 98 spec, it's the oem shocks, and front and rear sway bars?
That would also mean if we ever get a bushing overhaul, would need jdm 98 spec part numbers for the bushings?

Indeed it is a bolt on affair. I had the JDM sway bar setup in my DC2R.

Guessing you have an audm dc2r? If you don't mind me asking, what bushings, suspension specs do you have on your car and how do you find it compare to the oem setup in terms of daily duty, weekend drives and the track?
