    Andy's Satin Silver DC5R.

Hi guys and girls! As some of you may know, I'm Andy. I've owned a Honda Civic EK for about 2 years now and it has been my daily commuter and my first car.

    The EK:

I absolutely loved it to bits and it taught me some important lessons such as "do it once, do it right". Which is why by the time I was finished with it, it only had OEM and genuine parts to it. But as I began to learn more and more about cars, it urged me to pursue a different route, I wanted something with a bit
more balls to it and overall a better
    driving experience.

Which leads me to my next topic. After saving a bit through work and gaining permission from parents to borrow some money, I began to search for one of my favourite chassis of all time, the DC5R. Two months went by nothing really caught my attention until a silver DC5R popped up. It had 135xxxkm on the clock, log books, spare keys, 99% stock and one mature owner that lived out in Cronulla and babied it since new back in 02. I quickly went to inspect it with my mechanic and he gave me the all clear and here she is:

Tailgating my dad home from Cronulla:

    Finally home!

Next morning woke up early and gave her a good clean inside and out and a better observation of the whole car. Was all good
    Loved walking out to this:

Sadly not anymore as the DC5R is now garaged

Okay well before I even found the right car.. I kind of... Prematured:

Hehe will get some more photos of the gear installed when I get the chance, too busy enjoying the car at the moment, don't think this feeling will ever stop!

P.S sorry for the long post. And can't wait to meet you all. If you see me, feel free to honk, wave whatever you like!

Looking good man. Don't worry, I prematurely purchased some parts (About a day or two before buying mine ): Axleback exhaust and brake booster + Master cylinder.
Lisa is a nut. She has a rubber butt. Everytime she turns around it goes putt putt.

Thanks man, it felt like I had my own little JDMyard going :P. Massive massive difference... I mean going from a basic chassis with a 1.6L SOHC to a ITR 2.0DOHC VTEC, unreal! Hmm I guess my new daily is the DC5R, the EK gets driven by my dad now to and from work. I will occasionally take the EK out if it's a long long drive to no where exciting in order to keep the KM's on the DC5R down.
