        Sweet!

Know of any books? I remember years ago I was in borders and picked up a book on race craft/racing lines and had a quick flick through it not thinking much of it. Wish I actually knew what I was looking at then bought the book.

^ I was shooting a wedding on Saturday and the bride's father has this book! He said I could take it for a read but I couldn't say yes. It was one of his collectable books.

I've heard Drive to Win by Carroll Smith is quite good. I've read Tune to Win and Engineer to Win by the same author, and they're excellent. Some might not agree with all the ideas or opinions in his books but they're always clear and logically presented.

I was actually looking for a copy of that book not too long ago. It's VERY expensive.

Thanks dude! I'll see what I can find.

I remember reading one part of the book from borders explaining how to take a hairpin corner, saying you had to go in deeper than usualy to get your car pointing to the exit of the hairpin. While a normal racing line would mean you'll exit too early and go off track. Arrghhh should have bought it lol.

Have Tune to win at home, also agree that it's written really well. Might have to try and find his other books as well!

Found a really cool book shop today, it's on the 9th level of the Dymocks building the CBD, a whole range of automotive books and they're really nice guys too. If you work around there be sure to drop in during lunch as it's a very cool place to visit.

Automoto Bookstore is the name, http://www.automotobookshop.com.au/ that's their site.

I got recommended this book: http://www.automotobookshop.com.au/b...ng-p-1241.html

Might pick it up when I get paid, had a quick flick through and it covers a lot of different aspects to racing.

Keith Code wrote " twist of the wrist" for motorcycles.
Must have book for bike riders. I believe many of the lessons to do with lines, reference points, turn in points, wide vision etc transfer over to driving a car.
If you ride and doth have this book get it! It will make you ride safer and faster on the raid it track.
