Haha okay. I see *more* track in your future. Is that the actual oil cooler kit you are getting? Whereabouts are you going to relocate your oil filter to?

with regards to oil cooler kits on Honda engines, does it have any affect on oil pressure?
I've been warned wrong choice of kit might decrease oil pressure

An oil cooler kit will decrease the oil presssure getting to the engine on any motor. It is impossible to design lines and a core that don't have some pressure drop across them. How important this is I don't know, I don't use a cooler and I am also a little wary of them.

the picture is just one i grabbed from the net. i did purchase a trust kit though.

the oil filter isnt going to be relocated as its already very convenient on the S2000. i will be using the supplied sandwich plate

It will reduce the oil pressure for sure but not enough to affect the vtec engagement. Trust oil cooler kit are design for specific vehicle and there is no affect according to my mate's car. Unless you use oil cooler kit with the relocator of oil filter......because the tubes are longer you may lost more pressure due to longer hoses.......

Is there any reason to relocate the oil besides maybe ease of changing oil filter?
