An oil cooler kit will decrease the oil presssure getting to the engine on any motor. It is impossible to design lines and a core that don't have some pressure drop across them. It will reduce the oil pressure for sure but not enough to affect the vtec engagement. Trust oil cooler kit are design for specific vehicle and there is no affect according to my mate's car. Unless you use oil cooler kit with the relocator of oil filter......because the tubes are longer you may lost more pressure due to longer hoses.......Mugen Whore #2
