It would be an EK1/EK4. You can't have a non genuine EK9.

            Oh really ?

How about you go to Autosalon mag HQ and ask for papz.

Because he sure as hell has a genuine one.

And there is another 5 I know of in Australia that are privatey imported with no dodgy vin # job.

Because you are not legally allowed to import a genuine EK9 into Australia unless you've owned it in Japan for a year.

                Check the SEVS website champ.

He probably means its a number job.

EK9 chasis but done registered with EK1 or some other EK VIN #

A B16B into a EG or EK would be good enough..

Whack some recaro's in there + itr steering wheel if you want..

You can't swap a chassis code. Anyone can build an EK1/EK4 replica of an EK9 but by definition you can't have a non genuine EK9.

                        Buy this one: LINK

Can't vouch for the authenticity of the car but if the swap is neatly done it will be a much better car than a bog stock EK9.

I'm sure there are some chop-shops out there who would laugh at this comment. lol

However I completely agree with your statement above, if we're not talking about doing dodgey chassis code chop-swaps.
